What to expect
The consultation and treatment will last around 30 minutes.
There may be some small bumps at the injection sites which will settle after 30 minutes.
There may be some mild bruising and discomfort, which should resolve over 24-48 hours.

- You will have a consultation to ensure you are suitable for treatment.
- We will discuss your ideas and expectations.
- You will be informed of the potential risks and complications.
- We will take before and after treatments to document treatment.
- We will decide on the areas to treat and the dosage needed.
When will I see the results?
- Avoid makeup and touching the face for 24 hours.
- Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen, saunas/steam rooms and strenuous exercise for 48 hours.
- Avoid skin treatments such as microneedling/ skin peels for 4 weeks.
- Results are not immediate
- You will gradually see the results with maximal effect at 2-4 weeks
- You will have a review at 2 weeks where you can have a top up if there is residual muscle activity
Contraindications*
Reasons I cannot have anti-wrinkle inhections:
- Pregnancy / breast feeding
- Overlying skin infection
- Neuromuscular conditions
- Unstable medical conditions
- Some medications
- Allergy to products
Anti-Wrinkle Injection Appointment
- Avoid any ibuprofen/ alcohol 48 hours before treatment.
- Be aware of contraindications (meaning reasons you cannot have treatment)*.
- Ensure your schedule is free immediatly following treatment.
- Ensure you do not have any significant events in the next few days following treatment

What to expect?
- Stop any retinol/ acids/ active ingredients 7 days before peel.
- Ensure you have been wearing SPF 4 weeks before peel.
- Ensure no significant sun exposure 4 weeks prior and after skin peel.
- Be aware of contra-indications (reason I cannot have a peel).
- Be aware you may need skin preparation before your skin peel.
- Appointment will last 30 mins.
- We will prep/ cleanse the skin and apply the peel.
- Peels will tend to feel tingly/ prickly but we will monitor this throughout
- Some peels are neutralised and some self-neutralise and are left on the skin.
After care
What to expect after
- Avoid touching the face and wearing makeup/ skin care for 24 hours.
- Wash your pillow case and phone case.
- At 12 hours you can use a simple cleanser and moisturiser.
- Ensure to wear SPF.
- Avoid holidays to sunny destinations for 4 weeks.
- Avoid any dermal filler/ anti-wrinkle injections for 4 weeks.
Consultation
Depending on the peel you may expect some light peeling of the skin over the next couple of days. The medium depth peels may cause more peeling which can last for a couple of weeks.
We advise to apply lots of moisturiser. You should see results over the first few days to weeks. Skin peels can be repeated after a 4-6 week interval.
Avoid active ingredients such as retinol, acids, vitamin C for at least 1 week after the peel.
We will discuss your skin concerns, current skin care regime and how we can target your concerns.
We will choose the skin peel which will have the best results for you and create a bespoke treatment plan.

What to expect?

- Be aware of contra-indications (reason I cannot have microneedling).
- Be aware you may need skin preparation before microneedling.
- Appointment will last approximately 45 minutes.
- We will prepare and cleanse the skin. A topical anaesthetic will be applied to the area being treated.
- The microneedling pen will be use to make small punctures in the skin. We will continue this until there are small uniform pinprick punctures across the whole surface of the area being treated.

We will choose the mesotherapy solution which best meets your skin care needs to give you the best results.
The area microneedling will be tender following the session. There will be generalised redness with some bleeding around the area. There may be a some mild bruising. This should resolve over the next few days.
The effects will not be immediate. It will take a couple of weeks to start to see the effects as more collagen and elastin production is stimulated. This should be followed by another session and 4 weeks in order to see maximal benefits.
